This agreement guarantees authenticity and origin using an insurance protocol inspired by a philosophical question: does an object stay the same when all its parts are replaced?
Meet the Ship of Theseus (SoT) insurance protocol, ensuring the painting's value if it's lost or damaged. The NFT (contract, prompt) with its digital image is the artwork's core, and the material painting is repainted to make it whole again. The new painting takes over as the fresh original.
The digital counterpart (NFT) follows the same idea. If there's hacking or a switch to a preferred blockchain, it can be burned or publicly disowned. A freshly minted NFT is returned it to its rightful owner, becoming the new original as well through the intermediary service.
